My Hubby is trying to get his little sailing dinghy going. But he keeps on getting distracted by stuff that needs doing to his vehicle, or other things around the house. He mentioned to me that there is a rotten plank on the entry deck, so I must remember to nag him about that before I fall through. I looked at it the other day, and there are others that might need replacing at the same time.
Funny stuff, wood. You can bury it, and it will last for maybe centuries, but put it in a damp place, or next to another plank, so that air can get to it, and it only lasts a few years.
