Here's my son and I on the weekend. Hubby said it was perfectly taken by him. We just looked alike here, lol...well, we decided to head out and drive around yesterday. We end up on the east coast of NS, no where to go really, but just drive until we ran out of gas, basically. It was a really nice day for a drive and we really enjoyed it, stopping just to stretch and get a coffee. It was really awesome. Sometimes, being spontaneous has it's benefits. If we had planned this ahead, most often than not, there would be some hindrance and other things that would obstruct it and I would have get annoyed if it doesn't happen>.<

A good way to shop
Whatever you are shopping for, it can only be discounted a certain amount, and this will depend upon the suppliers overhead, or the turnover. If we look at office supplies,the same situation holds true, which is probably why cleansweepsupply.com has such good prices. Being an online supplier, their turnover is massive compared to your local office supply outlet, where most of the price might be needed to pay the sales staff. The fact is that when receiving deliveries that are by the truckload, the prices from the manufacturer are more able to be discounted.

We love our coffees!
If there is one thing that we like in our house, it is our coffee. We actually have to control our coffee use a bit, so as not to get overdosed on it! We get coffee at the local drive-through a couple of times a day, but find that the quality will tend to go lower during the not so busy times of day. So, we are into quality, not price, that's for sure. Nothing more annoying than getting down the road a few miles, then finding that the coffee is not up to scratch. So, it is good to see that our irritation over this can be easily solved, just by using capresso coffee.

Shopping in the rain
Just came home for window shopping with my lil sis, and boy was it ever so windy. And it's pouring with rain. We are in hunt for a sort of formal dress for a debut party in 2 weeks time, time is running out for us. We still have to look for a dress for my mom and a suit for dad and lil bro and my son. This is gonna cost a big time. But oh well, it's only once in a while....

Feeling cold..
It's been really windy today and cold! Winter is really just around the corner now, at least, that's how it feels today. Light jacket wasn't enough to wear. I have to dig my winter jacket to get to work. I can't remember where I put all the gloves and mittens we have, so I just purchased some today. I just love the dollar store here. I normally buy gloves at the dollar store, they feel and look the same as those sort of expensive ones. The thing is, they don't really last me that long, either, I will lose one or forget them somewhere, so dollar ones definitely do the trick for me. It doesn't hurt that much if I will lose them.

It's Tuesday!!!!
Yey! It's Tuesday again! well, why am I happy? because that means, once today is over, it will be Wednesday! hehehehe...well, that means that 4 more days and it's the weekend again. I hate to push the days faster but who doesn't love the weekend, right? I am always looking forward to the weekend, spending time with hubby and my son and of course, relaxing. I am actually feed up with working.It's nice to earn and everything, but it would be nice to just not do anything. hehehehe...

Christmas Shopping - Grab The Luxury Goods Early!
Christmas Shopping? In October? Sure! Now is the time to get in on the low prices as the stores are getting competitive because of the economy. There are a lot of luxury goods at buy.com that are generally about 50% of the recommended price, and seemingly about 20% cheaper than other online suppliers. My Hubby will now have no excuse to not to buy me a GPS system for Christmas, by making use of the sale at buy.com

It's voting day!
Hubby and I went out and exercise our democratic rights really early this morning. Yeah, I made sure that my vote counts. It`s one of my rights and I am really happy to cast my ballot. There was no line up or anything like that in the morning. It was a smooth way to vote. Hubby and I went in and out in matter of minutes. It would be nice to see our candidate win butI hope that whoever wins, he will do his best to run this country.

Vacationing In Fall
Now that the winter is on the way, there is still time to escape the chills by getting away from the cold! One easy way is to simply fly or drive south to North Carolina, where there are some wonderful properties that are used for vacation rentals. An area in particular that is good is the Outer Banks, where the Outer Banks rentals can be had for fairly reasonable rates. In the fall it is a great climate there, not sweltering hot, yet not so cold that you need to wrap up warm.
