Truck driving remains a means of employment for many Americans, both men and women. It has the independence that many of us don't get when working inside a factory, with the boss watching us for 8 hours at a time. Smaller delivery trucks are not as good to drive as far as income goes, so you will need to get a Class A CDL license if you want to make decent income by driving a tractor-trailer. And it is better for your resume, as well as for your own safety if you choose a state approved CDL training school.
