My Hubby is very old-fashioned in how he does things. They say that as we get older we get more resistant to changes, but at the same time he occasionally will astound me by wanting to do a major thing in life that is really bizarre. Now, for instance, I will grab the calculator and punch in the figures before he has had time to even figure out where the calculator is, and it is the same with the calendar.
He insists upon having a paper calender so he can list things in it so as not to forget them. Not just any calendar, he has to have one with a good space for each day, so he can do his writing in there. I irritate him sometimes as I write something in, and he cannot read what it is, and tells me that the purpose of writing is to communicate, and so bad writing is useless writing. I just smile and tell him that I can read it, and that is all that matters.

Now here is a tip for those of you wanting to use a custom calendar as a medium for advertising your business. Get the calendar out nice and early, so it will be the one that is used rather than passed on, or even worse, lost into a drawer somewhere. Once the user has placed a reminder in a date for sometime in the coming year, they are really committed to having your business looking at them every day they are at work.
