This week’s theme: Old Fashioned

Here's me, wearing an old-fashioned costume as I represent the PI in one of the activities of our small town here last summer. Some of my pinay friends cooked up some delicacies from PI. It was a food sampling cabaret. Afterwards, I was able to sample some food from Africa, the Netherlands, Japan, Norway, Czechoslovakia, etc. and of course the native food here. They were all yummy!

Costume can always indicate a time--old fashioned or sometimes looking unusual. Yours is very pretty. I remember my filipina friends sending me pictures of themselves wearing dresses with very distinctive sleeves. Do you know the ones I mean? Are those sleeves typical of all the Philippines, or are they regional?

You look so nice in your old fashioned costume. What foods did you like best from the sampling? I like some Japanese- sushi, okonomiyaki and enari. Thanks for sharing. Happy Photo Hunting~
