Holiday Cheer Throughout the Year!
Now it's getting closer and I am not even halfway done! I don't know what to get for everybody nowadays. It seems like everybody got everything now.I could go through the whole year spending tons of money shopping though!and most of this shoppings are not for myself but for other people. With birthdays, family gatherings, anniversaries, the list just go on and on. I can't believe that this year seemed to go by really fast again. Few more weeks and it's Christmas time again! This is the time when most of us panicked on what to get for our love ones again for Christmas. So really plan ahead, check out couponchief.com for promo codes! Tons of coupons to get to save money. I am thinking of getting Arvin an iPod from bestbuy using bestbuy coupon to mention one item For hubby? maybe a portable GPS from staples using staples coupon because he hates asking directions!

Not satisfied?
One of things we are all aware from living here in the western world is how big and heavy people are. Of course, it's because of the food we eat here. I mean, the food is not totally to blame, but the servings of them. One of my co worker was complaining that the cafeteria lady didn't put enough fries on her order. I know that they generally fill the plate up, but I was thinking that she should be thankful that the cafeteria lady didn't put a lot in her plate! it means less cholesterol! LOL....people here are just used to big servings and the bigger the serving, the bigger your stomach will be. But you can actually feel fuller sooner by having this LapBand procedure by JourneyLite. It's one of the safest procedure for treatment of obesity and lap band Sugarland is conveniently located for you. Check out journeylite.com for all the details of this procedure.

A Chance To Win 4 Free Tour Tickets
One of the snag of winter is the boredom. I have been saving my vacation at work for the summer time, while most of my co-worker booked theirs in the middle of winter. I can't understand why they would travel south in January or February especially when the fare going there is really high around these months. Well, now I understand why. To take a break from this cold winter months! With this time of the year, somewhere warmer would be nice and if I had the chance though, I would probably travel to San Diego. It's one of those places that's perfect for winter-getaways. San Diego is home to many attractions like the San Diego Zoo to city-wide excursions on their famous Old Town Trolley tours. The Lego Land there would be on the things my son would love to see.You could also experience the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway and ascend 2 1/2 miles to Mt. San Jacinto State Park, a pristine wilderness of 14,000 acres, aboard the World's largest rotating tramcars. The construction of the tram has been labeled the "eighth wonder of the world.'' It would be a view to remember! It would be great to experience San Diego and it's fine city.

There is a great and easy way to get closer to this winter getaway! sign up for the Trusted Travel e-Newsletter! You could automatically entered to win 4 free tickets to tours in San Diego. This offer ends Friday, December 14th, 2007 and is presented by Trusted Tours and Attractions who operate across the continent, from California to Florida, and much more.

Special deals Including a Hollywood Trip can be Won
Car transmissions are fairly reliable, but when they do give trouble, it can be a real car-stopper of a breakdown. AAMCO Transmissions have over 800 locations in USA and Canada. Right now, Aamco Transmissions have some fantastic promotions available at their website aamcocoupon.com and you can download the coupons right away. They currently have a deal going on for a transmission fluid change for just $29.95 with a coupon...... This is good preventive maintenance - as transmission fluid gets older, it can and does lose what they call 'lubricity', that is, it's ability to lubricate properly. This in turn can cause transmission failure, as the friction material in your transmission that actually drives the wheels of your car depends upon the fluid to maintain consistent performance.
But the promotional deals don't stop there - you can also get $25 off any service, or, and this is a good one, they will check for reasons if you have a 'check engine' light coming on. The last one is important, as often, the 'check engine' light can be a minor problem being detected by the cars computer, but occasionally, the problem can be caused by either something more serious, or by something that will cause bad gas mileage. So it could well be that a visit to your nearest Aamco location, website coupon in hand, might save you money for months to come! They have other deals too, including a chance to win a 4 day trip to Hollywood including a day with the 'Live Free or Die Hard' stuntman. Well worth a visit to the website.

I have no idea how some peeps are able to maintain their blogs. I really have hard time keeping up with the pace. I have purchased and build a blog with my own domain with the intention of dumping my 2 others. But now hubby wants to join me and have access to my own domain. I am not really sure now what to do. Right now, I am struggling to juggle these 3 blogs and keeping it up.

Great gift!

Have you ever been past a business or gated community, and seen that the sign or address plaque (or welcome plaque) is mounted on a large rock? Such rocks typically weigh about 1000 pounds, so the expense of getting one delivered, set up, and then having a plaque mounted on it, can obviously be very high. There is a company with a solution. It is called Artificial Rocks Factory , and their specialty is in artificial stone versions of the rocks that weigh so much. As they are a subsidiary of Valley Monuments, Inc. (ValleyMonuments.com) they have the expertize to supply artificial rocks for purposes other than just for memorials, dedications and awards & recognition, primarily with bronze plaques. These durable artificial rocks that the Artificial Rocks Factory make are a great new alternative to the heavy originals with four models of realistic 'fake' rocks with custom address plaques or welcome plaques being available for use as address markers. Made from molds created using actual 800-1,000 lb. boulders, Artificial Rock Factory's incredibly lifelike 50-60 lb. "artificial rocks" look and feel natural because they're made from construction-grade cast stone--not fiberglass or polyurethane. Artificial Rocks Factory offers 20 different models of boulders which are all hollow, approx. one-inch thick, and open at the bottom. Four of the models with the best front angles are the ones available for address and welcome plaques.
Any of these four models can be selected, with a custom rustproof cast aluminum ivy oval address plaque or address sign for up to five 3" characters (numbers or capitalized letters) or up to seven 2" characters (numbers or capitalized letters) in gold on a black background. The address and welcome boulders are available in three different colors and are shipped to customers' doorsteps via FedEx Ground with the address or welcome plaque already permanently affixed.
An anti-theft metal eye bolt is cast inside every address or welcome boulder (easy-to-follow instructions and recommendations for its use are shipped with each one). These functional landscape accents can be ordered alone or as a set with one or more of the Artificial Rocks Factory's other models without an address plaque or address sign. When you visit the website, you can click on any of the fake rock images and they will spin around to provide a 360-degree view of all sides of that particular model. For Christmas 2007, Nov. 29 is the last day to order the fake rocks with a custom address plaque in time for delivery by Christmas (since the welcome plaques are always in-stock, the rocks with a "WELCOME" greeting can be ordered as late as Dec. 13).Normally $299 each, the rock replicas with an address plaque or welcome plaque are $199.

Short-term Loans
Have you ever had that feeling of doom when you suddenly realize that you didn't allow for a payment going out of your bank account, and so now you will be fouling up your credit rating, and getting charged a lot of penalty money just for the sake, maybe, of not having quite enough in the account for a period of maybe a day or two? The answer is what is known as a payday loans. Cash Advance is often WAY less than the Bank penalty charges and it will help you maintain your good credit ratings. Bear in mind that these loans are not intended to be permanent, or massive in size, the key to the convenience and workability of a Payday Loans is for it to be strictly to tide you over for up to a month.

These loans have become a really viable option only since the banks started getting excessive in the charges they make - they are presumably trying to get you to obtain an overdraft, which is generally a longer term loan that can trap you into having to repeatedly pay the monthly charge.

So if you need some sort of Salary Advance then check out, robertsbridgefinancial.com. Well worth bearing in mind just in case you are in a short term crunch for cash. Just like having a friend to borrow from, but without you owing them a favor afterwards.

Fashion online
I found a really great online fashion boutique at Tobi.com . It is better than most sites, because the styles are younger rather than the more fuddy-duddy stuff that is found at most fashion sites. The website is easy to shop at, or even just browse through, because of the way it is set up to allow selection of 'men', or 'women', then to browse on further by clothing type (category) and brand or designer. And speaking of brands, they have a great selection, for instance, nudie jeans for men. Nudie have been a leader in jeans for women for a long time, and I have often
thought that the style is what looks great - the secret is no doubt in the cut, and looking at the Nudie collection for men, they look pretty good to me! Tobi also, apart from a good selection of all types of fashion for both guys and gals, have another interesting collection of jeans for guys by seven for all mankind. It is not often that I go to a fashion website and find so much of interest, maybe it is because the collections there are realistic for real people, not just those who look good on a fashion runway. The clothing is shown as clothing, not as a model that happens to be
wearing certain clothing, so it is a less distracting situation, although the models when shown are good-looking. The website also loads nicely, so that you don't have to spend an hour waiting for an opening page to load, only to find it has only a hidden link - just try going to www.tobi.com and you will see what I mean. Find the latest fashions and you can even speak to an online stylist to help you choose what is best for you. It's a personal high value shopping experience.

Check this out!

I have read somewhere that in 2012, the first hotel opens in outer space! can you believe that? Launching in 2012, the Galactic Suite will offers Earthlings the chance to stay in one the three space pods while circling the Earth every 80 minutes!Isn't that the coolest thing? Of course, the price tag is steep obviously, $4m for a three-day visit. But consider this, you will get to experience the 0 gravity, see the sun rise 15 times a day and, for a shower, enter a spa room where bubbles of water float around you!

Don't pay the full price!
When it comes to cars, Honda Cars are one of the best ones out there. My brother had been eying on a Honda Civic for his first car here in Canada. After arriving from PI, the most important thing to know is to learn how to drive, so I suggested to look and check CarsBlvd.com before doing anything else. Right now, he is saving up for his new car because using public transportation is ok but you will still need to get yourself a car. At CarsBlvd.com they will allow you to compare Honda Car Prices from different dealerships. You’ll get up to 2 Honda Car Quotes almost instantly. You don’t have to pay full price for a new car. That's the advantage when the dealers compete for your business, you'll win!

Got a question for ya!
I was asked by Juliana by this question as a tag:

What is your favorite sleeping position, and why?

My answer: I love sleeping on my side facing hubby. I sleep on his right side. I actually like to put my legs underneath his for warmth. But most often than not, he'll end up with an inch space at the end of our bed and sometimes falling.LOL. it doesn't matter if we will start at the edge on my side, i will still end up "pushing him out" on his side, as he describes it! hehehe

My question: Aside from birthday and anniversary, so far this year, what is your most memorable time, and why?

You gotta answer this ladies : JennyR, Ivy and Emz

Chit chat!

I have found a new chatroom to hang out at. It is actually a website called wireclub.com with a lot of different chat rooms, each with a focus on a different topic, or you can create a new chat room to invite others, and search the chat rooms for one with a topic that is less common. The chat rooms that are listed are not only for the usual stuff like dating chat, but also for things like game chat, sports chat, animal chat, and more. You can also choose to select local chat. A cha troom situation is much more interesting to get into than a specific dating service website, although WireClub does have that as part of the deal. It is interesting just to go to the website and see all the options - WireClub appears to have a lot of things covered as far as interests and lifestyles are concerned. Once you do the sign up, you get to see into the website more than by just browsing there, and an interesting feature is that it indicates who is currently online, no matter where in the world they are located. You will need to have an email address in order to sign up, and when signing up you can choose what to include in the way of information to enter into your profile that others can look at online. I would say that Wireclub is better than other chat sites, because it allows you to be more selective in your chat choices.

Coin collection
It is hard to try to save and get the maximum return for the amount invested these days. I read somewhere recently that most Mutual Funds, for instance, actually underperform the average market increases. So, a good investment strategy is to not only save the monetary value of your investment amount, but to add to this a collectors value. With rare coins, the advantage is two-fold - the coins generally have a face-value, a metal value, plus they have rarity that is attractive to collectors, and it is this rarity value that has historically increased at a rate that far exceeds regular monetary investments.By using the services of a trusted leader in precious metals investments, such as Monaco Rare Coin, who are a well-established part of the Monex family of companies, good service is assured. Monaco staff and advisors are members of such groups as The Professional Numismatic Guild, the American Numismatic Association, Professional Coin Grading Service, Numismatic Guarantee Corporation of America, The National Silver Dollar Round Table, and numerous other numismatic trade organizations. By ensuring that your purchase is wise, the future value increase is more speedily assured. So, to get the information regarding your future coin collection, visit Monaco Rare Coin, and get the advantages of “Full Service Coin Trading”.

Garage flooring
I have to find a way to clean up the oil off the basement floor, where hubby has stored car engines in the past. Fixing it will be like fixing garage floors and I have to decide whether to cover it up, or try to somehow get the oil to come out of the concrete. It should have been sealed before it got dirty, then it would be easier. I guess I will try some of the things listed at carguygarage.com and see how it goes.

Hmmmm
Made some apple pies on the weekend and I still have tons of apples left from the apple picking we did last month. I stored them in the basement so they are nice and cool. These pies didn't stay long in my kitchen though, I brought 1 to my bros apartment and i baked one here. But frankly speaking, I am not really into baking, i hate the preparation and the mess. I'd rather clean up afterwards and of course, eat..., hehehhehe....

Looking forward

I can't wait for tomorrow's episode of the Survivor, China. I have been watching this every week because we have a pool going on at work. Last week, JR got voted out, which was a little surprising for him. I knew he won't stay long but I thought that they will all get rid of the other members of the tribe first. That was the plan before. But now that both tribes merged, the plan has completely changed...wonder who get voted out tomorrow night?

Bettercaring

"Time and being are identical in the sense that both undergoes changes"- A favorite quotation of my mom's. When I picked them up at the airport, I was amazed how time seemed to have aged them. I have not seen them for close to 8 years, so I was stunned when I saw my parents again. That's when it hit me, I am getting older, they are getting older. People might say those words often, but I have not realized that aging is really inevitable. Those, made me realized that I have to take care of them, and have to take care of myself when my time comes.
It is not that easy to find people to do the good work that care homes do and trust those people to take care of your loved one. You really have to get your homework done. You need somebody who has the same concern. Care issues affect everyone at some point in their lives. As the years go by we may all find ourselves unable to cope alone and in need of assistance.

Plan now!

Winter get-away is one of the things people are considering to have a break from the cold climate. Yeah, I would love to go down south, even just 2 weeks, just to get away from the snow. I am it hasn't even started it yet, but now I am not looking forward from it. Checking online for lovely destinations comes easy with Hotel Reservations site online. The site is very easy to navigate.I checked and reviewed their offers and so far, they have the lowest prices in town and they guarantee them. They also give special offers and special discounts. They have vacation packages that would save me tons of money. It would be nice to take Arvin to Disneyland this march break and when I checked the price, it sounds very affordable! I did not tell him yet, gotta discuss this with hubby first. It sounds promising though. But we'll see what he says first before I get too excited. But I am 80% sure we're going to England in June to visit his native land to chow me where he grew up and places he knew, so I have checked their hotels too, and they have the great prices especially if I will book in advance. I would love to do that whenever possible.I have submitted our vacation dates at work and we are just waiting for it's confirmation(cross fingers!) and once we are sure, then i can book in advance for hotels.

Do you like traveling with a group of your friends? or even travel with a group of friends of you and your partner? Well, I was just wondering because you can go with a group of your friends to just relax on a very relaxing cruise! I have this friend, her and her hubby and 4 other couples going on a trip together. I have also checked their prices and booking in group would save you even more money. Why pay more for your accommodation and trips when you can save, and you can use your savings for buying stuff while you're away to remember that place, right?

Dentist appointment
I hate to think that I will be going to my dentist in 2 hours time..huhuhu... I am not really a fan of dentist. Well, I like the fact that it's a routine check-up, no fillings or anything like that. But because it's been a year since I have last seen her. I think I am due to a lot of things! It used to be check-ups every six months, but I am not sure why it's getting them so long to get me another appointment. I love my dentist anyways. I think she is very good. But sometimes she is not there, on vacation, perhaps, and I hate it somebody else is touching my gums and teeth. Oh well, I hope everything will be alright today...

Can't wait!
Well, winter had just sort of started but now I can't wait for the summer again. I don't like the cold weather anymore and I think most of us, don't. Most of my friends at work have already booked their vacations in February and March just to have a break from this winter season. At first, I didn't get it. I was wondering why they would spend a lot of money to go down south, and I thought it was a waste of money. Growing up in a tropical place, Mexico Vacations wasn't one of my 'dream' vacation. But it hit me when all my friends who go there have the time of their lives! Going away for even 2 weeks was definitely worth it. The white sand, the sunny beaches, the feeling of relaxation in the heat of Mexico weather, no wonder people go there.

Well folks, how was your weekend? Well, mine was pretty boring actually.lol..I spent my weekend at home, although I went out with hubby saturday to get some grocery and went the mall. I baked 3 apple pies altogether, 1 of which I will be bringing to my family in the city. I cooked a lot this weekend though, so I don't have to cook in the following days, hehehe. Of course, I blogged too! It snowed yesterday for a bit and not it's clear again. I am going back to work again tonight!

This going to be one of dad's best first-time moments.Lol. He practically dragged me to go out today to get his photo taken with the snow. It was a wet one and it was windy outside so I wasn't going to bother to go out but he kept on going out and checking the snow and he was getting upset, so I just give him the fun. An so we took a bunch of photos of him.

Short on cash?
Whenever there is an emergency that involves money, a lot of people are not prepared for it. Most of us who are living pay check to pay check are the worst one who will get hit with these emergency situations. That's why places like No Fax Payday Loans exist because of these situations. There are those occasions where instead of borrowing money from relatives, which is so embarrassing, or selling your precious items for less than it's worth, short-term loans are the way to go. It is easy and you could get the cash you need sooner than you think. Avoid the penalty of the bank if you can, try paydayloanquotes.com to see if they can help you with your short-term financial needs. Well worth bearing in mind just in case you are in a short term crunch for cash. The best thing getting the loan from them is, they are just like having a friend to borrow from, but without you owing them a favor afterwards.

Another Weekend
Well, here it is again, another weekend. I have no plans for today though. Just woke up and ask hubby what we can do for today. I dropped Arvin off to the city yesterday to spend the weekend off there. it's going to be a long weekend because we are celebrating Remembrance Day. It is observed on November 11 to recall the end of World War I on that date in 1918.

Quotes on cars
The reason why my brother moved to the city is the big problem we have with transportation. Over the city, they can just get into the bus and because everything is close by they would normally just walk. He just arrived from the PI and he is still in the process of learning the book so he can take the test for his license. Buying his new car, of course, is one of his main goal in the near future, because even if everything is close by in the city, driving is still a necessity. Of course, I have to help him shop for cars. A lot of dealers overpriced their vehicles and getting Honda, Toyota & Ford Car Quotes first is a good thing to have. You don't want to pay full price for cars, right? You can compare quotes at Carsblvd.com for free!

So happy to see her..
My best buddy's aunt came from San Francisco last week for a visit. She is over in SF for over 20 years and this is the first time they have seen each others in years! I am so happy for my friend here because she had been mentioning her aunt to me for awhile now. I couldn't be happier for my friend when her aunt's decided to visit her before going to the PI for a month. Anyways, she was here last week and we all have a good feast at my friend's house. Her aunt was telling me that she had $500US pocket money and she ex-changed it to Canadian's. I was surprised when she only got $473cad out of her $500! I guess, our Canadian dollar is really going strong nowadays and I didn't realized that it is affecting a lot of people.

We can almost afford one!

It is not an uncommon knowledge that when it comes to HDTV prices, it is continuing to fall down as manufacturers are competing to get customers. When HDTV's first came, I am shocked about their prices. I could just get a ticket for a visit to PI with that amount. But as it continues to fall, we might be able to afford it soon. I think a sharp 32 inch LCD would be sufficient enough to have. I have been browsing the net for this, checking out the prices and the model and stuff like that. Christmas is coming soon, and having this in our living room would be realizing one of hubby's dreams:)

You Are Low Maintenance

Otherwise known as "too good to be true"

You're one laid back chica - and men love that!

Just remember that no good guy likes a doormat.

So if you find your self going along to get along...

Stop yourself and put up a little bit of a fight.

Overall, it's good!
Well, it was a productive week for me the week that just passed. I was off for a few days. Did some cleaning. I cooked a lot yesterday because of the storm we had last night. So I don't have to cook for a few days! yey! But I still have to do my apple pies though! I have been meaning to do it today but, the power outage refrained me from doing it. Oh well, hopefully I can do them this next few days. I will be back again to work tomorrow, will drag myself from bed early tomorrow morning. So I might not be back again for the next few days or so. So for those people I forget to visit, I apologized. I am hoping I can do my rounds every time I log in, but I cant! My blogging buddies have expanded dramatically that it's hard to visit them in one sitting! hehehe..oh well, to all of you, happy start of the week and keep blogging!

Why not travel to Spain?
Discover Spain One of the places I wanna visit sometime is Spain. It' s only a few hours from France and if I have the money to tour Europe, Spain for sure is up there on my list. To travel to Spain is to experience sun, superb food, hospitality and yet it is also to discover the country’s rich heritage of monuments and sights- the imprint of the different civilizations that once made it their home. It is also to journey breathtaking countryside and delight in the stunning, starkly contrasting scenery, study the customs of its peoples and towns, and share in their local fiestas and traditions like Torre de Bujaco.
Of course, seeing all these places means, you need to save up for accommodations. You don't want to spend all your money to get hotels in Spain if you could get it cheaper. In particular, going to get hotels in Barcelona, for example, or hotels in Madrid should not be that hard if you will just look closely. There are places there where you can get cheaper than most hotels give, yet elegant enough to enjoy your stay.

All done for you!
I have known a friend who loves to play bingo all the time. She plays bingo almost three times a week, plus she also plays TV bingo on Sundays. I have mentioned to her about playing bingo online because she hates driving out in the winter time. I managed to show her to google bingo online and guess what? yes! we have a lot of anwers. With all the online gaming sites around, it is hard to pick one. I could just search for online gaming site and it will give me tons of results. But what pro360 differs from the rest of them, is, it will show you selection of casino games like online poker slots and more! It's done all the necessary full reviews so you know that you are getting the top most games online. It provides you with listings of factors you will consider such as the bonuses, the graphics, features, even customer service. What a convenient way to play and enjoy the online games you want!

How Prissy I am?
Yeah, I most definitely get most of my ways. I am not that hard to deal with though. I normally do things that are logical and are really reasonable. My tolerance is high, but I could be hard to deal with if I don't like you...LoL..

You Are a Bit Prissy

From time to time you can be a princess, but these days, who isn't a little high maintenance?

You know what you want, and you're definitely not afraid to ask for it.

(Just refrain from having a temper tantrum if you don't get your way!)

There's nothing wrong with having high standards... as long as they're occasionally low enough to allow spontaneity and fun!

Hard time?(math tutors)
There is nothing else we hope but for our kids to have the best education in order to have a better future. But when they are not having fun at school, it will take them longer to learn. My son was having a great time in school in his younger years, but as he is going to a higher grade level, I think we will need some help. Math Tutors are one of them. He is finding it hard to understand his work now compare to the last few years.

It was one fun night for us. Although it was a bit cold, we still manage to collect good treats. Most of the houses were decorated with halloween decorations and it was a lovely night to go out and check them when they are all lit up. We met Arvin's friends outside and proceeded to just walk around the neighbourhood.

Oh when oh when?(paris hotels)
Will my dream come true? I have been dreaming of going to Europe sometime soon. Every time my hubby and I discuss about it, the more I get excited. I think it will happen soon. Now that my family is here now, I have to make another 'project' and the Europe idea, I supposed, is the best one I can come up with. I have been thinking of the expenses we are going to incur as you know, we are not rich people. I know Europe trip is one expensive trip. It's not most of the people here do. They rather go down south to Jamaica or places like that.

Image:Paris 06 Eiffelturm 4828.jpg

Going for a trip like this requires looking for hotels in France. It's one of the expenses we have to consider, the renting of Paris hotels. I think I wouldn't pass the opportunity of not stopping and seeing the Eiffel Tower. You know it's not going to be that cheap, so we really have to look around for cheap deals. We don't want to spend most of our money on hotels. Looking for nice hotels doesn't have to be that expensive.

Cant wait to get out of there!
I really did have a bad time today at work! Well, I hate my job and I can't wait to get out of there!I have been talking about getting a further education since forever! I have been planning to go back to school after my family comes from the PI, even just getting any kind of online courses would probably my best bet, as long as I am going to be out of that place! Well, now that my family are here, I really have to focused on it because I have no reason now not to do it. I really hate what I do right now and I have been meaning to do the one thing I have been wanting all this years. It's nice to wake up each morning knowing that you are going to work at the place where you really love. I can't imagine going through this work of mine at the moment until I retire, i really have to consider taking even online education where my course of interest is one of the courses they offer.

You are so very psychic.

But you already predicted that, didn't you?

You have "the gift" - and you use it daily to connect with others.

You're very tapped into the world around you...

At last!
I am late with uploading the photos for the Halloween this year because I left the cable to my USB port at the apartment. Like I mentioned before, we had a great time trick-or-treating. Hubby and I walked Arvin and his friends to the neighbourhood. He is dressed as Zoro again! He didn't out-grew this outfit and so I saved up for his costume. It was a little chilly that night though. No clouds in sight, so it was really cold. Overall, it was a good night out.

Freelance Marketplace
There are a lot of ways you can get work out there. You just have to know where to look for them. The internet is one of them(of course). A co-worker of mine just quit work few months back to do freelance design . He love to do web designing and I think it's one of the in demand jobs there is. He like to do the job according to his time and still get paid good money for it.

I'm bored!
I thought this a cute one. This was forwarded to me by a friend who is also stuck in the house because of a incoming storm. We are supposed to get up to 140km an hour wind tonight and up to 20-25mm of rain, maybe more. Most flights, if not all, have been canceled and a lot of us are really preparing for this storm by filling up bottles of water and checking flashlights. Hope nothing will get damage here.

Are you a PMS Disaster?
Of course! but I think I am not that bad. Hubby knows me so well with this and he handles the situation very well!

Your PMS Disaster Level: Medium

You definitely are a bit of a wreck once a month.

But as long as remember to take it easy, your PMS isn't a major crisis.

Can't help it?
We went to McDonald for a quick meal on my brother's treat.Mom and I went for the junior chicken burger and my brother went for the big mac meal. They served a really big serving of pop with that meal! I mean really big that we didn't order any pop for mom and I, instead we asked for extra cup. No wonder there's a lot of people here that's overweight! I mean, it's not the food that's the problem, it's the amount it's being served. This is getting out of hand now, obesity is now one of the problem we are facing today. There are a lot of help around though before it's too late. When dieting and exercising wont help anymore, try kingwood lap band . The LAP-BAND System is the only adjustable and completely reversible weight-loss surgery. This is only available in the United States as of today but it's worth considering.

It took us forever!
This was taken on the way to the Valley. When we went there to picked apples, it took us almost 4 hours of driving over there plus another 4 hours coming back. I didn't realized it's going to be that long. I always love to drive, whenever we go out, I am always on the driver's seat. Perhaps, hubby is so lazy, that's why he was happy when I begun to drive. The only thing I don't want when he's on the passenger side is the fact that because he's a driver too and think differently than me, he would always criticized my driving or jump from his seat which of course, well make me nervous...

His line of interests

Arvin is into police and military stuff when it comes to playing games or playing in the computer. He was asking me if he can join the sea cadets to see if he will like it. He's one of those kids who's into those things. Like any mom, I would prefer him to be a doctor or a lawyer or something like that. But as he is preparing to decide, that dream of mind is getting farther and farther...hehehe..oh well, it will be him who will decide in the end, right? Well, I am not really saying no to whatever area of profession he will pick, just checking some stuff online about all the gear that my son is into and Galco is a good place to check them. You should see how his eyes glitters when I showed him the site:)

Gloomy
Such a miserable day today. I got up at 9 this morning. Hubby had taken Arvin to school, without waking me up. Hope he didn't forget to take his vitamins:) I was going to rake the leaves outside, but it's so windy and cloudy. Just one step out and I backed off! So what else can I do but blog again, I guess! hehehe... I dusted and cleaned the kitchen though and now it's time to face the monitor.. I was on the computer most of the day yesterday. I should have done the raking yesterday instead of today. Oh well, there's always tomorrow for that.........

Oh Mom!

When we went to picked some apples at the farm the other week, my mom went over there one day ahead of us. She stayed with my friend there overnight. When they arrived that day though, she eagerly ask my friend to go to the apple farm without us. And so they did! She asked for 2 bags and without wasting time, she picked and picked apples like crazy! When her 2nd bag was almost full, my friend asked her if she's going to cook a bunch of apple pies with her 2 bags. That's when it hit her that she will be paying for the apples she picked! hehehehe..She thought she's there to work! hehehehe...she was so embarrassed and forced to buy the 2 bags of apples discreetly hiding her embarrassment from my friend:)

Great deals, save in buckets!
For sure, Christmas is one pressuring events of the year especially if you are not organized. Sad thing is, a lot of us borrow money to buy all the presents for Christmas and some of us are still paying from last year's spending. That's why it's very wise to do your search and check out good deals now before it's too late. Check out savebuckets.co.uk to get good deals now without waiting for the last minute.

GHOST OF CHRISTMAS PAST HAUNTS INDEBTED BRITS

- New price saving site launches to save Brits up to 20% this Christmas -

As the nation approaches the final countdown to Christmas, new research rings alarm bells over the financial impact of Christmas in credit crunch Britain. The research from the new money saving website Savebuckets.com reveals that as Brits prepare for Christmas, many are still paying off last year’s festive spending.

With 41 per cent of Britons paying for Christmas on credit last year, almost one in five are still paying for last year’s festivities (17%), fewer than one in three having cleared their Christmas debts when their January credit card bill arrived (29%).

Following a year of consumer confidence in 2006, Christmas spending soared 52 per cent in two years (from an average £548 per adult in 2004* to £837 per adult in 2006), with over one in five Brits spending over £1,000 on Christmas last year (22%). This year, with spending power at its lowest level for 10 years**, consumers are feeling the financial hangover from a more confident Christmas enjoyed on the credit card and loans.

Alarmingly, it is cash strapped youngsters and low income earners who, having spent the most on last Christmas, are most likely to be feeling the repercussions of last year’s spending spree (see figures below).

The research into the financial impacts of last Christmas amongst a GB representative sample of 2,000 British adults was carried out by the new money savings website Savebuckets.com which launches this week to enable Brits to get more for their money this Christmas.

With these alarming figures in mind, Savebuckets.com will give shoppers the opportunity to save up to 20% on their Christmas shopping. Putting consumers back in control of their spending, the site searches over 700 retailers for the best price on around one million products. The site includes a unique price checker which allows consumers to set the price they want to pay for items, notifying them when the price of a product falls to within their budget.

They are hurting!
Men! I have been in front of the computer since this morning and it's almost time for bed again! wow! this is the longest time I've been in front of the monitor and my eyes are now actually watery and hurting. I think it's time to have a break. My son has been home for the last two hours and I haven't even seen his face! I just stayed in the bedroom away from hubby who was outside all day:) He was doing some last minute cleaning outside before everything will get frozen.

Panicking...
Hubby is in a bit of panic with our finances because we don't want to use money we don't earn anymore. We just got our finances straightened out and we are just getting by without using credit cards. But it's really hard to get through your week, if emergency arises and you know you can't just get the money and you have to wait for your pay. In situations like these, there are places where you can get quote for some cash advance.Payday Loan Quotes are there without a credit check. It's quick and easy way to get some short-term loan.

It's almost summer time!
My aunt just left PI last week to Australia. My cousin married a guy from their and now have some kids of her own. My aunt would normally go visit them every year, coz the kids are almost off school now for the summer and Christmas. She likes to spend some time with them during this season. That's what I like about over there, Australian Christmas takes place at the height of summer! That also means that all the fun activities like going to beach, festivals and shows and entertainment, falls on next month.

Sometimes, I would think that we will just save up our Christmas present-money and spend it to go to Australia! Even if we will just get cheap hotels in Sydney, we will! I would enjoy the harbour bridge walk and shows they have. Getting accommodation in Sydney is again could be expensive but checking out for good deals is not that hard.

No photos for you!
Waa! I made a mistake leaving the cable to my camera at my bro's apartment the other day. So now I won't be able to upload the photos I took from last night's trick or treat-ing. I am really disappointed with myself! Oh well, good thing, dad will be here tomorrow. I will just have to make sure that he won't forget it!

Early Christmas Plan
The plan, of course, is the shopping early! what better way to spend the Christmas stress-free than getting all the shopping done early, right? Have you heared of www.black-friday.net? Black Friday is actually the day after Thanksgiving when major retailers around the country discount products to help kick off the Christmas shopping season. This is the chance to get all the stuff you need for Christmas. Just thinking about Christmas just made me realized that I will be really stress out this year. I have my whole family from PI! This will be their first Christmas here. For sure it would be a challenge to buy gifts for them. But buying online long before the Black Friday ads circulars in the Thanksgiving Day newspaper is a hit! Imagine the advantage of getting all the great deals before anyone else:) By going online at Tommy Hilfiger Black Friday Ad, I would be able to get them the Christmas gifts at the comfort of my own home without the freezing cold or waking up early to bit other people to the store! The site is really easy to navigate! They really made it user friendly. The site also offers email alerts to let you know when new blackfriday ads have been posted.
