Thank you!
I would like to thank all the people who greeted us for our 11th wedding anniversary. Your greetings mean so much to me and hubby. We are really proud that we made another year of what I consider a successful marriage. I don't know at what level you can consider your marriage to be successful, but for us, we are on that level. I could not imagine life without him. So far, the only thing we are praying and hoping is to have our health so we could be together for more years to come. So here's another day for another year of being together!

Edinburgh
I have been checking out hotels in UK for the last few days now. Going for a trip to UK is very expensive and I don't want to spend most of my money on accommodation. If I have to, I will just have to tell hubby that we can sleep in the car! LOL! I would like to spend my money on the gas to go check out places rather than to stay in one place. But amazingly though, if you only deepened your search, you'll be amazed how cheap it is to find good quality accommodation in Edinburgh. This is one of the places we wanted to go to. Wanted to check the place and if we're lucky, will be able to see the comedy festival and military tattoo shows!

Hotels in Edinburgh could be very expensive if you don't know where to find the best deal. So whether you're on vacation or business trip, I think your best bet is to check out sites like cheaperthanhotels.co.uk for the cheap hotels in Edinburgh .

Better Half
I got tagged again from fellow blogger,Emz, thanks girl! .

This is in regards to my better half. I have noticed that most of the girls here have done this tag. So i won't be tagging anybody, just grab it if you please:)

This tag is simple. If you feel comfortable and your better half does too, you can post a picture of him in your blog ( but if not a description will do). May it be a baby picture anything that you like with the following:

1. First name: if he doesn't like his name plastered all over the internet, a pet name will do.

*John is first name but I call him Babe( i am the only one allowed though!)

2. How and where did you meet?

*I met him in the old days where chatting online just begun in the PI- I was published in a magazine just for fun with my bestfriend in college( you know, just to see if anybody would notice your picture). That's how he found me and you don't have any idea how long it was to get the communication going and because of this, I wasn't optimistic about the relationship to grow.

3. Characteristics

*The goofiest person I have ever known! He is very protective of me. He is very considerate about my feelings. Never did he said something that would hurt me yet. Just have our 11th year in marriage and I know it's getting old when I say that we never had any disagreement yet, but what can I say, it's true!

4. Your plans 20 to 30 years from now.

*Well, this is the question I would rather not answer. Our gap is very long and I'd rather not think about this.

How's your nail?
Do you know that nail fungus and athlete's foot fungi like to grow in warm, moist areas, which include public areas such as spas, swimming pools, locker rooms, or showers? For short periods of time it can live in warm puddles on tile floors, awaiting for someone to step in and pick up the spores. So the smart thing to do is to wear sandals, water shoes, or swimming booties because they will help in keeping your feet from touching the floor directly. And always dry your feet after using all these places. If you already have it, try ZetaClear. Fungal infections are very common on both fingernail and toenails. It is a living organism that thrives in dark, damp environments such as under and around nails. Toenail Fungus is much common to problem because toes is mostly likely to be in dark and damp environment.

Marking our 11th year

Yes! we are now officially married for 11 years! Imagine that! I can't believed we would stay this long. A lot of people were not optimistic about it. He had been amazing to me and my family which is very important. For sure, being married with him is a smooth sailing:) I made a video just to see where we are and I am so proud that with all the things we've been through, the only thing that hasn't changed is the way we look each other in the eye. I am positively sure that he had never changed. He still look at me as if he had seen me for the first time.....

Fall is here
click photo for a closer look:)

I woke up today getting ready for work and found out that my car is crisp and really icy. Fall is definitely here! The leaves had been turn to yellow and brownished for weeks now and now they are almost gone. Really time to start to use my remote key to start my car from inside. I love the colours of the trees now and actually, I kinda like the fall, it's not too cold and it's not too hot, but this morning was exceptional, it was freezing...brrr!

Deals in accommodation
We have been discussing to go to the UK sometime soon. It's one of the things we wanted to go to as a couple. Hubby wanted me to see the place where he grew up and I wanted to see the most famous places over there. I have met some friends through blogging from the UK, and hopefully, I will meet them soon.

If you are planning to go to the UK like us, then try and check out these London Accommodation that offers not only the best deal in accommodation, but they also have last minute offer that will save you tons of money. We really have to plan this over-sea's adventure we're going to do, it's not like we will go on the package deal, where everything is included. No! no! no!...we wanted to have the freedom to drive around. So getting access to site like London Accommodation from cheaperthanhotels.co.uk is really helpful.

The Penguins...

I watched a movie with Arvin yesterday. It was a very astonishing film, shot in the chilly Antarctic. March of the Penguin was awesome! It was one of those facts about these animals that I feel like I knew they are there, but didn't really bother enough to know how they live and survive. You'll be surprised alright! It was so amazing to know how they survive in this frigid environment where freezing winds and snowstorms are common. Having watched this made me realized how amazing these birds are. Arvin and I learned a lot! I would recommend this movie for the whole family...

Emergency cash
Just when you think when you got it all sort out, emergency situation that requires money instantly happens all the time. When you are like me, who spends my money on bills and stuff as it comes, then, there is no room for emergency situations! It's out of the question! Good thing there is places to get cash advance when needed. If you think about it, when there are emergency situations, you still have to pay bills, so to avoid late-payment penalties and to protect your credit ratings, or to avoid borrowing money from family and friends, it's good to have access to cash advance places like cashadvance1500.com!

Passing the Pink Penguin

I have spent some time reading some blogs of friends today and I stumbled this pink penguin. I believed that raising breast cancer awareness is key to detection and prevention.
A family friend of ours in the Philippines had developed breast cancer and I feel so sad for her. I used to stay at her place when I was in Manila and she portrays as my second mom. She provided me with financial support and guidance while I was with her. Few years later, I was stunned when I received a letter from her saying she has breast cancer. How could a person acquire this? I am hoping that someday they will be able to find the cure to this decease....
Please pass this on........

Real Estate

Real estate business is booming nowadays as a lot of people move or transfer places all the time. I have seen a lot of houses for sale and get sold the next day. My mom was really good at real estate back home. Mom surely miss being out there, on the go all the time and dealing with people almost everyday. She was really uneasy when she came because she doesn't have much to do when she gets up in the morning. If you are like her who love to be involve in real estates, check out this mortgage broker test.

It is a software you could use to help you pass the test the first time because this software is customized by state. It is designed to supplement your state pre-licensing classes and is created specifically for the Mortgage Broker or Loan Officer Exams.Real estate exams are based on the national laws as well as the specific laws for that state.

The big apple
Going to New York City is like a dream come true to me. That dream comes nearer and nearer to be true now that I made some friends through blogging. Some of them had invited me to go there, and hey, it's one invitation I wouldn't say 'No' to. I have seen a lot of this city on the screen, but now that I have friends from there, I have seen first-hand photos from them. Will really glad to visit the place. If I think of it and look at the map, it's not really that far from here. Sis and I are thinking of visiting Manhattan someday. Going in a New York Tours is the way to go. With it's tall buildings and sophisticated stores, it sure is a place to visit from my list. Not to mention seeing the great masters - Van Gogh, Monet, Rembrandt and Vermeer. I am talking about the journey through the history of art in human civilization. The Metropolitan Museum of Art is one of the most comprehensive collections of paintings, sculpture, and decorative arts in the world. This is one museum I am aiming to see before I kick the bucket. There are lots of things to see there- Times Square, Statue of Liberty, Central Park, Empire State Building and a ferry cruise across New York Harbor! I wanna see them all!

Early Halloween Treat

I have been randomly picked by new found friend Juliana from NY to get this cute early treat for halloween. It sure feels halloween here now. A lot of my neighbour are now displaying halloween display on their yard. I have to get my decorations out soon too. I am still debating weather to get Arvin new costume for halloween. He is a bit big now for this and he is not mentioning of getting one anymore. I hope he can still use the last year's one. Costumes are a bit expensive for me, you know.
Anyways, I am passing this to people who are new to me and hoping to get to know them more.....Rowena, Nice, Rea and Ritchelle

In need of cash, now?
Sometimes, when emergency happens, it's always good to have some cash stash away. But if you are like me, who spends money as it comes:), then there is no room for emergencies! It's really bad, i know, but I am sure I am not the only one, in fact, I think most of the people I know(if not all) are in the same boat as I am. Sometimes, people spend their money even before they will get it. Having access to cash advance before payday is really a good thing, especially if there's an emergency and you want to avoid late-payment penalties on your bills which will cost you big time and of course, you will also protect your credit ratings, which is very essential. Applying online for payday loans is secure and fast. So instead of writing check and 'bouncing' it or selling personal property for less than it is worth, payday loans are a good alternative. Another thing I hate doing is borrowing money from family and friends, it's a very uncomfortable situation. A lot of people have a need from time to time for short-term financial assistance and payday loans provide an alternative solution.

Hubby and I been talking more often on going away for a couple of weeks or so very soon. It's been an on going discussion, almost everyday actually. Been on the internet, checking how much hotel and car rental would cost and of course, the airfare. This 'big' going away had been held up because of my sponsoring my family to come from the Philippines. But since they are here now, we could actually get the plans going again. I am getting excited about it:)

We've done a little searching on the net and good thing I have found some hotels in London, from easytobook.com! Yes, it's been an ongoing discussion that sometime in the near future, we would be able to visit where hubby grew up. It's been one of his ultimate dreams and I am hoping that we will be able to go. It would certainly make him happy, and of course, me too!. I am comfortable that he knows his place of origin, but for some people who doesn't, proper guidelines on London hotels is a must for visitors. EasyToBook.com is a place that provides you with a comprehensive list of hotels in London online. Through EasyToBook.com you will be able to browse through all quality accommodation options so hassle-free!

Weird Things About Me

Instruction. Each player of this game starts with 6 weird things about themselves. People who get tagged need to write a blog of their own 6 weird things as well as state the rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose 6 people to be tagged and list their names. Don’t forget to leave a comment that says you are tagged in their comments and tell them to read your blog.

Been tagged by Lizap with this. A little hard to think about weird things I wanna share. Normally, I wanna keep it to myself, but what the heck, here's mine!!

1. I have mentioned this before, that I keep biting my fingers and hair when I am not doing anything else or when I am talking on the phone.

2. Revealing for the first time: I have a phobia standing beside a bed or next to a sofa because I feel like something will grab me from underneath it. I remember when I was a kid, carrying my youngest bro, he was crying after the power went out, and for some reason I was standing beside our bed and 'something' grabbed my ankle! Since then, I can't stand beside something with space from the floor

3. I am kinda like a control freak, I like to have the control of any situation, not sure if this is under the category of being weird, but for us here in this small town, people would think it's weird that a 'little' filipina is in control over the 'big' western man

4. Another thing I consider weird, even John does think so too, is the way I have to have my flip flop everyday, it doesn't matter if it's in the middle of winter or summer, John and some friends even gave me proper slippers but I still prefers using my flip flops

There are a lot of people here to think. i can't concentrate, really:) so be back later! thanks Lizap anyways:)

Online shopping
I have been buying comfortably online for stuff I like maybe for a couple of years now. It's actually not that unsafe contrary to the beliefs of some people. I was extremely scared before when people has a lot of things to say about buying stuff online. But since I started one with the use of pay pal, i am really comfy now with online buying. It's fast and you don't have to get out of your house. With my very busy schedule, I find all the stuff I want online. We just bought a whole desktop package online a couple of months ago from dell. Without even seeing it personally. It's pretty good actually, considering it's one of my biggest purchases online.

If you are like me that loves to buy stuff especially if you can get a better deal, consider joining couponchief.com! Especially if you are trying to buy a new computer, check out dell. They give tons of coupons and coupon codes which will help you a lot when buying your favourite stuff online. Why pay more when you can save?
