Apples

We went and picked some apple at the Valley. It was my family's first time to see an apple farm. They were so excited seeing all the apples trees and couldn't wait to pick them up. Even I couldn't wait:)

money things
There has been a lot of discussion at work and anywhere else that most of the companies owned by US that are currently based here will close soon because of the rising of Canadian dollar. At first, I thought, that Canadian money literally "went up", which have been good for my family back home in PI! But that wasn't the case, the USdollar actually just went down, leveling to the Can$. So technically, it's no good to me, in that aspect. A server friend actually have been told by their supervisor to charge more against US$ because they are losing on the rates even if it's about the same right now. How long will this last? I don't know, but some things are certain, they say, that company like mine, will eventually close here and move back to the US or open one in Mexico where labour costs are way cheaper. I hope that won't happen, because I am still relying on my job right now...

A whopper baby!
I went and checked my email at yahoo when this photo caught my attention. I started reading the caption and it says that this baby, from a Russian woman, weighs a whopping 17.1 pounds! wow! that's big baby! This baby girl, named Nadia (left of the photo), who weighed 7.75 kg (17.1 lbs) after birth, lies in a maternity ward in the Siberian city of Barnaul.
"I ate everything, we don't have the money for special foods so I just ate potatoes, noodles and tomatoes," she told the reporter, adding that all her previous babies had weighed more than 5 kg.
The Guinness World Records lists a 10.2 kg baby boy born in Italy in 1955, and a 10.8 kg baby boy who was born in the United States in 1879 but died 11 hours later.
The average weight for most healthy newborn babies is around 3.2 kg (7.06 lb), according to World Health Organisation figures. (check out the rest of the story here!)

Finding the one, the modern style
Before almost everybody have their own pc at home, we used to go to cafe for hours. We do our homeworks from school there and a lot more. Yeah, a lot more:) I have been chatting with people all over the world there and I found it fascinating, back then, it was kinda not a good thing. A lot of people doesn't know a lot about computers back then and disagree with the idea of talking to perfect strangers. Since a lot of people succeeded in meeting people and actually moving on to the "next step", a lot of people are now open minded about it. I have known a few friends who actually got married and successfully still going strong from meeting online.

There are a lot of sites now you can join in order to meet new people. Specially if you are looking for Jewish singles. Some dating sites requires you to pay to get your profile build but this is absolutely a free site and if jewish dating is your thing, then this might be the one for you. Check out the jewish personals and see if your soul mate is there! You got nothing to lose and everything to gain! it's absolutely free to join!!!

Slow down???
I just happened to open my horoscope today and I am a little stunned by what it said:

Aries (Mar 21 - Apr 19)
The Bottom Line:
You need to slow down today -- you're leaving too many important people behind.

In Detail:
You need to slow down today -- don't come to a full stop, but you should take your foot off the gas! You are in danger of getting a speeding ticket from the person you're closest to in life. It seems that you're leaving people in the dust, and not noticing that they are getting smaller and smaller in your rear view mirror. Stop everything, turn around, and make your way back to them. They won't be waiting much longer. Make your reunion sweet, considerate, and full of contrition.

I guess I have to slow down a little. I have been posting here how busy I am not realizing that I am not just neglecting my blogs and friends here but also my own son. I got stop everything and sit with him tonight:)

Upgrading!
I have been doing little stuff to improve our house in the last year or so. We have to keep it modern and up to date. This is one of the best investment you could do. Putting money in your house. Not just it will help you sell your house if ever, it will add to the value of the house and of course, for me, i can see where my money went:) especially if I will add this conservatories to my existing porch:). It would just light up my whole living room and dining room:) It would be a great add on to any house, that's for sure! There are a lot of places that could help you for high quality home improvements and one of them is Anglian, been in the business for 36 years so just know you can rely on their expertise with regards for home improvements!

Glad they are here!

It's been a riot at home since my sis and bro came from the Philippines. So much fun. We are on the go this past month. I am travelling to the city almost every second day. A lot of stuff to do! We are looking for apartment for them while looking for jobs there. Richard already found a job and he is staying with a friend in the city. Hopefully we will find an apartment close enough to everything so transportation won't be an issue for them. So many new things for them to learn and try. That's the good thing here, so many jobs, if you are not picky.

Hair loss?
My youngest brother is really worried about his hair loss . It wasn't a big deal to him back 5 years ago but now that he is noticing it very rapidly, he is a little worried. He is trying to grow his hair long now so he can hide it temporarily but how far will this go on until he can't see hair anymore? I know it's somewhat hereditary and I know there's a lot of factors why this is happening aside from that, but he can't seem to accept this fact about him. I have seen some alternatives and one of them is taking provillus, one of the best ranked hair loss treatment there is in the market today. Although I am a little scared and need more education about this, I find this a little promising. This could be perfect for his problem. It supposed to aggressively seeds your scalp to create the optimum environment for new, healthy hairs. It supplies the proper nutrition required to bring damaged, dead hair follicles back to life. There is also procerin which is an all-natural supplement and serum. While there are several causes of hair loss, Procerin is effective in reversing hair loss in men caused by androgenetic alopecia, the most common cause of male hair loss. So i have hoping that this will help not just for my little brother's delima but also for those who suffers the same problem as him:)

The new me:)

Hello folks! It's been a few days since I made a post here or to my other one:)...as always, I have been busy with a lot of stuff. We are always out of the house this past few days. Trying to get everybody settled down. Been hunting for jobs and apartment in the city for my family who just arrived from PI, so I was really busy. With that said, I was tired with my hair being long, so I got it chopped off for now. It feels better and lighter. I was gonna grow it long but it was too much for me to handle with my busy sched. So, that's my new me!

Storage Bins

This is what we need!!! a really neat garage with all the neat garage storage cabinets! That's all I ever hope for- for him to have a really neat place to stock his stuff. I have been dreaming that one day, John would be able to have one like this. He had always been my mechanic. We never had our cars fix by mechanics before. All odd things, he does. And he's really good at it too. So I never have any problem when my car will need something done with it. The only snag I have with him is, his tools are everywhere, so what we need is an excellent storage bins to organize his stuff.
